SriLanka won't send group of diplomats towards next UNHRC session...


20th UN Human Rights Council session schedule to commence on 18th of June preparations are been made by Manisha Gunesekara SriLankan permanent representative to Geneva. 
There are no possibilities to make pressure against SriLanka due to this she will representate SriLanka at this session, sources said.
In the recent pass various pressures made against SriLanka at the UN Human Rights Council due to this group headed by the senior human rights advisor of President Minister Mahinda Samarasinghe present at all the sessions.
But however this time none of the Lankan diplomat will take part in this UNHRC session.
SriLankan Ambassador to Geneva Tamara Kunanayakam blamed the Ministry of External Affairs has kept her side from the preparation of this session.
Replying to the Secretary to the Ministry of External Affairs Karunathilaka Amunugama stated that Tamara has announced since end of working has Lankan ambassador to SriLanka she will evacuate from diplomatic affairs.
She also request leave from June 10th to June 30th. We have granted leave for her. UNHRC session schedule to commence of 18th of June.
She was aware about the UNHRC session and requested leave from us but however we have granted leave for her said the Karunathilaka Amunugama.
Special NGO programmes will also schedule to hold at this meeting. SriLankan External Affairs Ministry will continuously monitor the UNHRC session.
