The computer systems of the Department of Immigration and Emigration of Katunayake Bandaranaike International dropped out for one hour effected the processing of passports to a standstill, sources from confirmed.
The source said that the issue, which started at around 2:30pm, was rectified within an hour.


“We cannot process outbound or inbound passengers, and there were a large number of passengers who were waiting for processing of passports,” the source said.


Sources from the Airport added that no passengers missed their flight due to the crash.
